Continuing Legal Education Institute of Pakistan was endorsed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (Tassaduq Hussain Jilani) and the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan. Organised first Law-Tech Conference in Pakistan, first CLE Conference with the KPK Bar Association, Peshawar.

Served as legal advisers on AML/CFT for UNODC on deputation with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. The program included:
  • Review and update of MF/TF risk assessment methodology for legal persons and arrangements
  • Secondary legislation drafting for SECP on AMF/CFT
  • Typologies paper for SECP for legal persons/arrangements
  • Guidelines /FAQs for Ultimate Beneficial Owners (SECP) including for NPOs

  • Outreach program (Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta) on improving understanding AMF/CFT risks and UBO framework

  • Capacity building of the SECP enforcement teams to enhance administrative and enforcement actions of SECP officers
  • Report on sector wise engagement to assess AML/CFT for financial institutions and NPOs

  • AMF/CFT guidelines for regulated sector to be issued by SECP
  • Scoping document to identify main databases currently in use for AMF/CFT Customer Due Diligence

Islamabad Wildlife Management Board
The Applicant is a Pro Bono Advocate, Islamabad Wildlife Management Board Successfully acted as Legal Counsel in the matter against Pakistan Cricket Board whereby PCB was required to relinquish land to IWMB and replant all trees and planation destroyed for purposes of stadium.

Pakistan In-house Counsel’s Forum

Training ADR Course of Pakistani Judges
The Applicant has assisted and advised the United States Department of Commerce, Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) on structuring an ADR training course for Pakistani Superior Court Justices at the Federal Judicial Academy, Islamabad conducted by four (4) visiting U.S. Federal Court Judges.The Applicant has the honour to conduct the IP Tribunal Judges Training at Karachi and Washington D.C.
